This place was in my list of 'to visit restaurants' since lonnggg....finally visited Lodi- The Garden Restaurant with my lovely set of friends & husband last weekend. Away from all hassles… a quiet & soothing place in the city, alfresco dining, separate enclosures for private dining, uniquely styled outside bar, beautifully decorated right from the entrance till wherever you can see..this is the feeling that you get the moment you enter the restaurant. They have indoor seating as well which is not as huge as compared to the outdoor area and cannot accommodate many people, interiors are also not great either. The only drawback of this is that you cannot enjoy this place much in summers. Ambience is beautiful and have got a nice feel to it, however not exceptional or something which you haven't seen anywhere else in Delhi. We ordered wild mushroom & fresh thyme perfumed with truffle oil, vegeterian mezze and Rajasthani Kuti mirch & Kasoori methi infused chicken perfumed with house mustard oil with garlic dip for starters (garlic dip was to die for). Whole wheat spaghetti with extra virgin olive oil, garlic, feta cheese and seasonal vegetables, veg quesidillas (cheese in the quesidillas was very fresh and melted immediately in the mouth, one of the best quesidillas i have had, simple yet tasty) and Whole wheat spaghetti with chicken in tomato sauce for mains.
